The Hunters' Cottage provides a warm, base for your stay at Wairangi Station. Designed to accommodate up to six guests, the cottage features a basic kitchen suitable for self-catering, along with a comfortable living and dining area centered around a wood fire, creating an inviting space to unwind after a day in the field.
The cottage includes a shower and toilet, and towels are supplied for your convenience. A bottom sheet is provided on the bunks and guests are asked to bring their own sleeping bag or similar.

Weekend rate (Friday 5pm to Monday 10am) - $200 per person (minimum two hunters)
Midweek rate (Monday 12pm to Friday 3pm) - $300 per person (minimum two hunters)

Non-Hunter Guest Rates
We welcome extras who wish to join a hunting party without participating in bowhunting. The rates for adult non-hunters staying with a hunting group are $100 per person for the weekend and $150 per person for the midweek slot. Children under 12 stay for free. Please note that these extra guests do not count toward the minimum occupancy requirement.
To ensure everyone’s safety and the well-being of our animals, we kindly ask that you follow a few simple rules during your stay. As we are a working farm, please keep the following in mind:
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Keep gates closed and always be cautious and respectful around livestock.
